The Scholarship fund is

1)   Available to assist individuals participating in the outreach of Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church. 

2)   Specifically targeted to be used outside our local service area.

3)   Needs based.

The Scholarship Fund committee is comprised of the chairpersons of Local Impact Ministry Team and International Missions Ministry. The chair of International Missions also chairs the Scholarship Fund.   

Individuals who can, should fund their trip as part of the mission journey.  In parallel with that, all potential trip participants should seek the prayers and support of their respective small group within the congregation. Should there be a need for additional financial assistance, application to the Scholarship Fund is appropriate.  

All applications, any awards and proceedings of the Scholarship Fund committee are CONFIDENTIAL.

1) The purpose of the trip;

2) A personal letter with information you wish to share with the scholarship committee;

4) Your plan to communicate this part of your faith journey after the trip;
