MPPC's presence in Kenya began in the 1990's in support of Daystar University, a non-denominational Christian evangelical institution, by providing scholarships. In 2002, we accepted the sponsorship challenge of the Kinyao-Dandora schools in the slums of Nairobi by supporting these children through contributions to the Kenya Children's Fund. MPPC women and the Maasai women of Magdalene Setia Kaitei's community have been linked in a women-to women global partnership in a borehole project to provide accessible drinking water for the village.
