MEMBER CARE MINISTRY

Members caring for members in need....

Member Care Ministry shall be responsible for planning and oversight of the pastoral care of members of the congregation, assuring families and individuals affected by illness, death and crisis that they are supported by the Church.  It will facilitate the church's responsibility . . . To provide for the growth of its members and for their equipment for ministry through personal and pastoral care. (form of Government G-10-0102 e.)

When there is a need, don't assume anyone else knows about it.  Make sure you have made at least one contact so our members never feel they have been neglected.  Call the church office, a minister, or a ministry leader.  If we are strong in our emotional, physical, and spiritual beings, we will be able to share this experience with others.
