Confirmation Covenant for CONFIRMANDS

I commit to deepen my faith through Bible study, worship, fellowship, prayer and service in the upcoming year.

I commit to:

  • Glorify God with my life
  • Respect,  honor and grow with those in my community of faith / small group
  • Participate in my community of faith by asking questions and actively listening to others
  • Attend class weekly
  • Worship regularly with my family and my confirmation family
  • Honor my parents and communicate with them throughout this process

Confirmation Covenant for PARENTS

I commit to ddepen my own faith through Bible study, worship, fellowship, prayer and service in the upcoming year.

I commit to nurturing my Confirmand's spiritual growth by:

  • Glorifying God with my life
  • Creating a home where it is ok to ask questions and share our faith
  • Upholding Confirmation as a priority
  • Worshiping regularly as a family
  • Ensuring he/she attends class weekly

I will pray consistently for our confirmation leaders and for my Confirmand.

Confirmation Covenant for SMALL GROUP LEADERS

I commit to deepen my own faith through Bible study, worship, fellowship, prayer and service in the upcoming year.

I commit to:

  • Glorify God with my life
  • Pray consistently for my small group
  • Love and edify my small group and seek Christ in each individual
  • Give generously of my time / make myself available for my small group and any questions, problems, concerns or joys that may be on their hearts
  • Prepare for and attend class weekly
  • Worship regularly with my family and my confirmation family
