Guidelines for Parents

  • Plan to be involved with all Parents' sessions and have your youth involved in all youth sessions.
  • discuss the sessions with your youth. this will provide the opportunity to grow together in your faith.
  • pray for youth on a regular basis. they need our support.
  • make every effort to be involved in Worship and Sunday school at MPPC each week and encourage your youth to participate in youth activities.

 

Requirements for Confirmands

  • Attend all classes
  • Attend Sunday School and Worship regularly
  • Acquire 20 Service Hours
  • Attend the Retreat at Bethelwoods, November 7th - 9th (6 service hours)
  • Three Sermon outlines (due January 11th)

 

We understand not all participated in Pre-Confirmation the last half of 8th grade, so the first Sunday of each month we will review. All other sessions will follow the format of a 30 minute lesson by one of our Pastors and at least 30 minutes breaking into small groups for discussion.  we will end class having dinner together, and hopefully the confirmands will stay for PYC.
