OPPORTUNITIES TO COMPLETE 20 SERVICE HOURS

Church:

  1. Usher at any service (Steve Humphreys 442-0180 or shumps@bellsouth.net)
  2. Make a joyful noice by singing in a choir or playing in the instrumental ensemble or handbells.
  3. Attend a Session, Diaconate or Church committee meeting.
  4. Participate in a Saturday of Service or Clean-up day at the church.
  5. Attend Confirmation retreat (6 hours)
  6. Volunteer in the church nursery on Sunday mornings during services.

Serve a Meal:

  1. Serve/clean-up at Wednesday night CONNEXION suppers at the church.
  2. Serve supper at the Night Shelter at Crisis Ministry on the 2nd Tuesday of the month.
  3. Deliver the meal to the Ronald McDonald House on the last Thursday of the month. (Bruce McAdams 364-7131 or bruce.mcadams@comcast.net)

Community:

  1. Volunteer with Budy Walk October 5th
  2. Volunteer with any of the following:  Adopt-A-Highway, Beach Sweep, Crop Walk or Race for the Cure.
  3. 3.Participate in group work day with Habitat for Humanity.
  4. Sort donations at East Cooper Community Outreach (849-9220).
  5. Volunteer with the Boys and Girls Club.
  6. Work voluntarily at a nursing home or hospital.
  7. Work voluntarily with United Methodist Relief.
