The second piece of the membership process is one meeting with our pastors and program staff in a small “cluster group.” Please check your calendars and come to class prepared to sign up for the cluster group meeting to be held in conjunction with the new member class.
At the first class, you will receive a folder with information and a data sheet that needs to be filled out completely – you can leave it with your instructor, mail it, fax it, or email it to tsnead@mppc.net. We are very happy that you are interested in becoming a member of the Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church family, and we look forward to meeting you in the New Member Inquiry Class. This class is provided to help you understand the simple and the not so simple. For example, it’s an opportunity to simply get to know your way around the church campus with its buildings, programs, budgets, and staff. Yet, it is also an opportunity to think seriously about the challenge and complexity of living out our lives as members of the Christian church. By the end, you’ll hopefully know where to find the nursery and prayer room, but you will also be given the opportunity to learn and discuss our commitment to Jesus Christ and the uniqueness of the Presbyterian branch of the Christian church.
