MEN'S MINISTRIES
An organizing committee that centralizes ministry opportunities by visioning, publicizing and leading programs specifically designed for the men of our church.
- Men's Breakfast ~ meets the 1st Sunday of the month at 7:00 am in the Fellowship Hall. They cook their own breakfast and enjoy a program of enrichment.
- Man Lunch ~ is a weekly lunch Bible Study gathering for men of all ages. Curriculum is designed to be continuous and yet stand alone because we know your weekly schedule is busy and we don't want you to miss out. Meets each Thursdays from 12:00-1:00 pm in the Grace Hall Basement.
- Annual Men's Conference ~ is 2-day event for spiritual renewal & inspiration typically held every August. This year (2008) the conference will be in February.
- Ronald McDonald House ~ we provide dinner the 4th Thursday of each month.
- MPPC Men's Chorus ~ for more information contact Barbara Loehr, Director of Musical Ministries at the church office.
- Audio/Visual Volunteers ~ help out during Worship by controlling the sound board. Volunteers are always needed and we will train you!
- Men’s Sunday Study Class ~ Meets each Sunday during Church School (9:45-10:45) in the Scout Hut. The group studies topical text; engaging in prayer, discussion and fellowship. Subjects have included men and work, the Presbyterian study catechism and the bestselling book, The Purpose Driven Life. Current Study: Book on David, by Charles Swindoll. Coordinator: Will Whitsett
- Men’s Tuesday Bible Study ~ Traditional bible study held each week at 6:45 am in the Church Parlor.
Coordinator: Paul Nodvedt - Men’s Friday Study Class ~ Meets each Friday at 7:00 am in the Church Parlor. An ongoing study of either books of the bible or selected books by various different Christian authors. Coordinators: Ralph Weatherall and Jeff Yost
