The Academy of St. John's theme for this year is Dimensions of a Christian Life. Jan 6-Feb 2 -- Dimensions of Biblical Study - Text: Selected portions of Matthew from the NRSV, Barclay, and Peterson translations. Facilitator: Dr. James Gilbert
BIBLE BOOMERS:

Oddball Books in the Bible. We will focus on the lesser known works of the New Testament like Philemon (it's about a runaway slave), Titus (a friend of Paul's), Jude, James, 1 & 2 Peter, and others. Facilitators: David Bradford, Chris Starr, Butch Hills

GENESIS:

Using the PC(USA) curriculum, We Believe, created specifically for Presbyterians by Presbyterians, focuses on our Reformed heritage. In different ways, each age level includes content from Reformed creeds, confessions, catechisms and statements of faith. Facilitators: Julian McGill, Glenn Bradley
LIVING THE QUESTIONS:
Where: in Library, Seabrook 209
Ever feel like Jesus has been kidnapped by the Christian Right or the Secular Left? Saving Jesus is a revolutionary small group exploration of Jesus Christ for the third millennium. Some topics explored will be: Jesus through the Ages; Who was Jesus?; What can we know about Jesus & How?; The World into Which Jesus was Born; Jesus' birth: Incarnation, and more. MUSTARD SEEDS:

Studies of various contemporary books have generated great discussions in this group of widely diverse folks. This crew is also known for some great social and family gatherings in addition to stimulating Church School conversations. Facilitator: Avis Griffith & others
MEN'S STUDY GROUP:
